We are honored to share our love story with anyone and everyone who will listen.

I am from the US, and Edith is from the Philippines. Our story begins with our commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. Both Edith and I are born-again believers, so we approached the dating scene with much prayer to the Lord, asking for His direction. Then, we put our faith to work and joined Christian Filipina.

We were both widowed and were asking God to lead us in this new phase of our lives. Edith had been on Christian Filipina for about 10 months with limited success, though nothing ever materialized. She was considering terminating her involvement with Christian Filipina when she received my message. On my part, I was talking to several ladies, but there was only one who truly stood out to me. It was Edith.

We started messaging and video chatting, and our relationship grew quickly. I decided to see Edith in person and flew to meet her after only 3 weeks. Our relationship kept growing, and it became obvious that God was behind our relationship. We were married in January 2025 in Manila, and we are very happy!

Our story is one of faith, hope, and love. We credit the Lord Jesus Christ for our union. After all, it was He who said, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you.”

Edith and I hope our love story will be of encouragement to someone who is seeking their God-sent mate.
