January 30, 2025

“May 15, 2017, I was single, bored, and didn’t have many friends. My sister-in-law suggested I try dating sites. I thought it wasn’t a bad idea, but doubts crept in with all the negative news and stories about relationships that started online. So I went to Google—’safest online dating site’—and Christian Filipina was on top of the results. I clicked on it and registered.

I put up my photo, which, by the way, was a full-body shot—as you can imagine, you could barely see my face. Lol. I thought this photo would definitely only spike interest from decent men. I wasn’t there for romance anyway; I was just killing boredom.

Not even an hour into navigating the site, I saw a photo of a guy that really made my heart skip a beat. Right then and there I decided to message him, but he couldn’t read it since you needed to subscribe.

I took that to my advantage. I didn’t mind him not responding to me. I kept sending messages at least twice a day. I ‘winked’ and viewed his profile several times. In short, I made him my ‘human diary.’

Two weeks passed, and I kept doing the same thing: sending messages to him. Until…that day, I got a random message from a guy on Facebook. I was glued to the name, as it was familiar to me. When I opened it, lo and behold, it was that guy I kept sending messages to every single day on CF.

I bought a cute cake to celebrate and not only sent a picture of the cake but I included the receipt! Yep! To prove that it was real and not just a random photo from Google.

In June, he asked me to be his girlfriend, then in October of the same year, he flew from America to the Philippines—just after 4 months since we started talking.

He was able to come meet me again in January of 2019. He proposed in February, days before his flight back to the US. A week after he left, we found out we were pregnant. In July, he came back, and in September, we got married.

In January of 2020, he flew back to America, then COVID hit the world so hard that we were separated for months. He went through so much to get back to us. We were reunited in September, just days before our daughter’s 1st birthday.

Fast forward to today, 2025, we are still happily married, living here in the Philippines, but have started visiting America since last year. We are thriving.

This all would’ve never happened if not because of Christian Filipina. I hope this kind of love finds you too!”
